{"id":4615,"date":"2026-03-06T14:49:18","date_gmt":"2026-03-06T06:49:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kcdhc.org.hk\/express\/?page_id=4615"},"modified":"2026-03-06T15:10:05","modified_gmt":"2026-03-06T07:10:05","slug":"hepatitis_b_co-care_scheme","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/kcdhc.org.hk\/express\/en\/hepatitis_b_co-care_scheme\/","title":{"rendered":"Hepatitis B Co-care Scheme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_btn title=&#8221;Back to Service Scope&#8221; align=&#8221;left&#8221; i_icon_fontawesome=&#8221;fas fa-arrow-left&#8221; add_icon=&#8221;true&#8221; link=&#8221;url:https%3A%2F%2Fkcdhc.org.hk%2Fexpress%2Fen%2F%25e6%259c%258d%25e5%258b%2599%25e5%2585%25a7%25e5%25ae%25b9%2F|title:Service%20Scope&#8221;][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<section class=\"list-content content\">\n<h2>Scheme Objectives<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"intro-l\">\n<li>&#8220;Hepatitis B Co-care Scheme&#8221; &#8211; Providing hepatitis B screening and ongoing management for higher-risk individuals.<\/li>\n<li>To provide a tailored health management plan for Scheme Participant to control risk factors for chronic diseases<\/li>\n<li>To prevent chronic diseases at an early stage, thus reducing related complications<\/li>\n<li>To realise the goal of &#8220;Family Doctor for All&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"list-content content\"><\/section>\n<section class=\"list-content content\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-12 col-md-6 mb-5\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<section class=\"list-content content\">\n<h2>Enrolment<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"intro-l\">\n<li>Hong Kong residents* born in or before 1988; and<\/li>\n<li>Whose family members (including parents, siblings and offspring) or sexual partners have chronic hepatitis B; and<br \/>\nNo known medical history of chronic hepatitis B nor related symptoms; and<\/li>\n<li>Have not received a complete course of hepatitis B vaccination<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<p>*Holding (1) a valid Hong Kong Identity Card within the meaning of the Registration of Persons Ordinance (Cap. 177), except those who obtained their Hong Kong Identity Card by virtue of a previous permission to land or remain in Hong Kong granted to them and such permission has expired or ceased to be valid, or (2) a valid Certificate of Exemption within the meaning of the Immigration Ordinance (Cap.115)[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<section class=\"list-content content\">\n<h2>Scheme Content<\/h2>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"list-content content\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong><span class=\"intro-l font-weight-bold\">Health Management Plan <\/span><\/strong><\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.primaryhealthcare.gov.hk\/cdcc\/assets\/img\/content-img2.png\" width=\"83\" height=\"77\" \/><\/p>\n<ul class=\"intro-l\">\n<li>Family doctors will provide up to four annually subsidized consultations together with the necessary medications, to participants diagnosed with Chronic Hepatitis B. Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) Scheme recipients, Old Age Living Allowance (OALA) recipients aged 75 or above, or holders of valid Certificate for Waiver of Medical Charges who are interested in joining the programme, may be arranged to receive the service at designated HA GOPCs via District Health Centres (DHC) \/ DHC Expresses, with the same service scope as the CDCC Pilot Scheme.
