The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon has been commissioned to operate Kowloon City District Health Centre Express since 1 October 2021, with an aim to provide comprehensive primary healthcare service to community members who are living or working in Kowloon City District, with a Core Centre serving as the headquarters and complemented by several service points in sub-districts at convenient locations. Service provision include but not limited to health promotion and education programmed, health assessment service, chronic disease management, etc.

The Lok sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon has long been devoted in providing quality and diversified services for the underprivileged, including Social, Medical, Educational and other corresponding services in coherence to the needs of the community. Service Philosophy


Kowloon City District Health Centre Express operate through district-based medical-social collaboration and public-private partnership, and act as a service hub to gather health and community resources of the district for better service access and utilization by community members. For example, the express will co-ordinate with district-based primary healthcare services provider, including Medical Practitioners, allied health professionals (physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, podiatrists, optometrists) and Chinese Medicine Practitioners for providing multidisciplinary care and intervention for service users. Apart from healthcare service networking, the express also gather different community resources via collaborating with social sector, in order to gain community support towards individual health care needs.

The Core Centre of the Express locates in To Kwa Wan, complemented by four service points in Kowloon City and Hung Hom, for the convenience of community members living or working at different sub-districts accessing the service.

Provide community-level support to chronic disease patients on disease management and reduce demand for hospitalization.
